ASA Philadelphia Sponsors Multidisciplinary Appraisers Roundtable


The Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers will hold a multidisciplinary roundtable seminar dinner at Johnnie’s Italian Restaurant in Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

The Appraisers Roundtable will be led by senior ASA appraisers in the five major disciplines: business valuation, real property, personal property, gems & jewelry, and machinery & equipment.  Topics will include  USPAP, Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC), Broker Price Opinion (BPO), Fannie Mae form 1004MC, evaluating comparables, digital signatures, preferred Art Advisory Panel formats, types of value (FMV, 141R fair value, orderly liquidation, auction), financials (bank financing, cost of capital, marketability vs. liquidity, financial reporting), and professional advancement.
