Bob & Sallie Connelly Auction of Collectibles: General Store Items, Trains, Guns


Binghampton, NY, December 10, 2008 -- Bob & Sallie Connelly will conduct an Auction of Collectible General Store Items, Furniture, China, Trains and Guns at the Showplace in Binghamton on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 11:00 am with a preview at 9:00 am.

Selling without reserve AS IS at a 10% buyers premium are FURNITURE, including oak rolltop desks, a butternut Dutch cupboard, and a 5-pc mahogany Skyscraper Art Deco bedroom set; GENERAL STORE ITEMS, including an oak wall telephone, butter churns, sad irons, and a labor-saving bosom board; MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS, including mantle clocks, vacuum tubes, and over 100 contemporary candle molds; CHINA, including 54 pcs of Spode "Marina" patterna and 66 pcs of Mason Ironstone "Vista"; TRAINS, including 2 Lionel and 2 HO sets and miscellaneous parts; and, selling at Noon, GUNS & KNIVES, including a circa 1940 Model 94 Winchester rifle, a 1937 Beretta Model 1934 9mm pistol with holster (taken from an Italian Lieutenant at Palermo) and fraternal swords.

Bob and Sallie Connelly, whose business includes antiques, auctions, appraisals and an art gallery, have been conducting auctions in the Binghamton, NY area for more than 30 years. This Collectibles Auction will be held at their 40,000-square-foot Showplace auction facility at Binghamton Plaza. The Showplace is located at 33 West State Street, Binghamton, NY 13901-2461.
